Since 1904, Anthony Downs has provided fans with the best
in horse and dog racing. The annual races, held in July, has become a
Mid-West Tradition.
Fans who choose to sit in the beautiful, open-air
grandstand are treated to close-up racing, as the grandstand is separated
from the track by less than 6 feet.
The race schedule consists of alternating horse and dog
races, at a fast and furious pace of every 15 minutes, providing plenty of
wagering opportunities, and lots of racing action.
Our 102nd running will include the VERY popular KCBS BBQ
Cook-Off on Friday, July 14 & July 15, 2006. For more information about
