The Anthony Fair Association aka Anthony Downs Racing, is moving forward with planning for races in July 2010. Funding will be difficult, and the biggest obstacle to overcome. We are considering all avenues to come up with funding for the Purse Money to be able to race in 2010. We are asking everyone for your support to keep the Anthony Downs Alive.
Anthony Fair Association is a 501-C (3) Non-Profit Association. All donations are tax deductible. If you would like to show your support for the Anthony Downs donations can be made to the Anthony Fair Association.
Since 1904, Anthony Downs has provided fans with the best in horse and dog racing. The annual races, held in July, has become a Mid-West Tradition.
Fans who choose to sit in the beautiful, open-air grandstand are treated to close-up racing, as the grandstand is separated from the track by less than 6 feet.
The race schedule consists of alternating horse and dog races, at a fast and furious pace of every 15 minutes, providing plenty of wagering opportunities, and lots of racing action.
